I’m due for a review of my pre-season predictions (in short, I nailed the White Sox, but blew the Dodgers), but before that happens I want to throw out a few more…
- The A’s will overtake the Angels, and a last-minute addition to the rotation, Juan Cruz, will lead them to the World Series.
- Brandon McCarthy will win the 2006 Cy Young (if I keep predicting it, it’s bound to come true, right?)
- The Yankees will overcome the Red Sox, but then blow it during their year-ending three game series.
- Andruw Jones will hit 54 homeruns and win the NL MVP because the Braves barely hold off the Phillies to win the NL East. Pujols is close, but the true winner, Derrek Lee, gets treated like a mini-disc player at an iPod party.
(And yes, if you figured out that this post is merely here to let me test out the presentation of an unordered list in various blog templates, you win the grand prize.)
