They tell the truth.

Freakonomics is a fantastic book and the co-Stevphen authors have an awesome blog. Today’s entry references data showing that per hour, horse-riding is more dangerous than motorcycle-riding. It’s also interesting that a high number of horse-riding-related injuries involve alcohol. (Dubner makes some more intelligent observations that are worth read.)

Statistics don’t lie. Honestly, they don’t. It’s the idiots who misuse and abuse data that lie.
