Now I’ve gone and done it. My post about Granderson and Rollins was linked to by Baseball Think Factory, and the ensuing discussion validates everything I’ve been doing. Why? Because the comments included all the varieties you’d expect for an article posted at a real, popular blog:
BTF Commenter Types On Real Articles
- ignores of the point of the article
- uses logic/information that was clearly refuted in the article
- one intelligent commenter that builds on the article (#5)
- a couple posters who decide it’s worth fighting the battle against crap
So, yup, I’ve made it. Next goal for the blog: comment spam attack.

Sky is a baseball fan and racket sport afficianado living in upstate NY. His favorite color is orange and is just about ready to give up on his life-long dream to become the next Magnus ver Magnuson (World's Strongest Man). His favorite baseball teams are the Yankees and Red Sox, proving that there's hope in the Middle East.

Congrats. I try to include preemptive strikes in articles I think have a chance to be linked at BTF.
