I finally made the plunge — this blog has its own URL (skyking162.com, strangely enough) and I had some fun doing a re-design (thanks, Tom). Yes, I’m still a fan of orange and green, but in a bold move I also added some purple — check out the highly functional footer.
Make sure to change your RSS Feed, although if you’re reading this in an RSS Reader, you should be good to go. The feed link is http://feeds.feedburner.com/skyking162, and you can also subscribe by email at the top of the right sidebar.

I like the new look. FWIW, on your last theme things got messed up a lot (like all the links/ads going way to the bottom and things not being aligned). I didn’t want to say anything as I figured you knew or it was just me. Anyway, everything looks fine here.
Seriously, keep up the good work. I enjoy the blog. Whereabouts in upstate NY do you live (obviously you dont have to say or be too specific)? I live up there too.

i don’t think anyone ever gets to the footer. I usually just check the first couple of posts and move on (especially with all the stuff you have on the right that moves the footer down WAY past the content)

I definitely need to even out/shorten the sidebars.
Tommy, I’ve had AN in my RSS reader on a couple separate occassions and just never find myself reading it much. Those team links at the bottom are just stuff I read consistently (although, there is a little weeding to do.)
